Agility Subsea Fabrication opens its new SIT hall at Skien Havneterminal

Monday September 30th, Agility Subsea Fabrication opened its new SIT (Site Integration Test) hall at Skien Havneterminal (The Port of Grenland).
The SIT hall, with its cornice height of 27,5 meters, truly act as the signature building of Skien Havneterminal. The SIT hall is purpose built to accommodate with all relevant subsea requirements for site integration testing, key dimensions being a base area of 35m*48m, with 20 meters below the crane hook and a surface weight capacity of 10 tons/m2.
The establishment of the SIT hall at Skien Havneterminal was an important factor for Agility Subsea Fabrication to strengthen its activity level in the Grenland region, where the Port of Grenland will be one of Norway’s most important ports going forward.
Further, the opening of the SIT hall is an important step on Agility Subsea Fabrication’s journey to increase its competitiveness and fabrication capacity, developing its fabrication facility at Røra to become a world leading manifold factory by offering fabrication and quay side testing and delivery of large subsea structures intended for subsea projects throughout the world at unrivalled quality, delivery precision and cost.
