ASF receives contract from TechnipFMC
Agility Subsea Fabrication (ASF, a world leading fabrication company) has been awarded by TechnipFMC a contract for the fabrication of six subsea manifold systems with six Integrated Template Structures. The ASF scope is part of TechnipFMC subsea production system (SPS) delivery to the Statoil Snorre Expansion Project in the North Sea.
The work will mainly be performed at ASF’s sites in Tønsberg and Røra, – sites that have previously delivered a significant number of large subsea structures to TechnipFMC. Fabrication will start up during Q2 2018, the first deliveries will take place in Q1-2019, the last in Q1-2020.
“ASF is very pleased that TechnipFMC has awarded this project to us and confirms the long and good relationship between the parties”, says Tove N. Ljungquist, CEO of ASF.
ASF has also signed a three-year frame agreement with TechnipFMC, where ASF offers fabrication of subsea structures for installation worldwide. This is an important agreement, which states ASF as world leading in fabrication of subsea structures.
Over the last years, ASF has had a systematic approach to increased competitiveness through focus on efficiency in all aspects of the company’s work processes and interactions with customers and suppliers. The company’s key-competence is “know-how” in relation to building sequence, logistics, welding technology and critical tolerances.
“The award from TechnipFMC and the three-year frame agreement makes us proud and gives us inspiration to work further with efficiency step changes to win more orders in this market”, continues Tove N. Ljungquist, CEO of ASF.
